Eurofoetus meeting – Sunday 20 and Monday 21 June 2010
As part of the 9th World Congress on Fetal Medicine, Rhodes, Greece – June 20-24, 2010.
The “Eurofoetus” part of the World Congress on Fetal Medicine will span two days, as in the past. The format of the selected abstract presentations will be transformed to the “Oral Poster” format. All presentations will be short, as to give as many as possible the opportunity to interact with the faculty and audience.
Participants can submit proposed abstracts, providing the title, a resume in up to 5 lines, and the item covered. The topics covered are, obviously, complicated monochorionic twins, and this year also other issues in (invasive) fetal therapy can be covered.

Fetal intervention (Sunday June 20th):
fetal heart – fetal lung lesions – congenital diaphragmatic hernia – myelomeningocele – gene therapy – fetal tumors – fetal urinary tract
Monochorionic twins (Monday June 21st):
follow up of monochorionic twins – pathophysiology and staging of TTTS – prenatal prediction of outcome following treatment of TTTS – laser surgery: technical issues – long term follow up of TTTS and MC Twins – placental studies – proposals for trials – growth discordance - selective fetocide – miscellaneous
